Nanshing America 00359 Review by R. Gibson "Amazon Addict" (Ellington, CT USA)

This set is very pretty. But it is not practical to sleep on. I did not realize it would be so "satin-y" and it is very hot. It also slides off the bed. The stitching has poor quality, and strings are found everywhere. Had I known, I would have chosen something with better quality.

Nanshing America 00359 Review by comfy girl

I bought this as a queen and would have to say it is a bit small for a queen. It is also really light weight and slippery. For the price though you cannot go wrong and I have had many compliments on it. Even with the small flaws it serves it purpose and looks very nice. I would recommend to those who are not all high class and picky.

Alton Brown MH0725 Review by T. Ross

This is very very sharp and Dangerous. 4 people have cut themselves on my knife. No one believes me when I tell them how sharp it is. It Really Really Sharp! which is great if you know how to use it. My Veggies are scared when I take it out knowing they will meet their demise in a few short seconds.

Alton Brown MH0725 Review by Test Engineer (Silicon Valley)

I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when using this knife. All of the positive reviews set my level of expectation high, and this product still beat my expectations. It cut through green onions like butter. I kept cutting each slice thinner and thinner with amazement. It did the job with bell peppers, tomatoes, and I'm pretty sure anything else I throw at it. Well worth the sale price I paid for it. Definitely will get some for my family next time the price drops.

Alton Brown MH0725 Review by Diesel Demon

I bought this knife to have a 2nd one around the kitchen so my boyfriend and I weren't fighting over who got to use the knife. We use this one so much more than the normal paring knife. It's exactly like the Alton's Angle (which are now discontinued since they now feature Ken Onion as a spokesman) just without the name and his little face on the blade- oh and it's a different color.

This knife is great for cutting tomatoes, quick trimming and cutting of meats, etc. The weight is well-balanced too. Just be careful- it's VERY sharp out of the box. The only thing I can see that might be a complaint for someone is that it is a right-handed knife. When I was searching for somewhere to purchase my 2nd one, I never saw anywhere that it was available in the left-handed version.

Green Mountain Coffee, Southern Pecan, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) Review by RC from GA

I'm not crazy about flavored coffee but I must admit this one is good. I got a sample pack of 5 k-cups from Keurig. You can taste and smell the pecans. It has a pleasing flavor and aroma. But I don't think I would want it every day. For me, once a week is enough.

Green Mountain Coffee, Southern Pecan, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) Review by Parviz Ghofrany "pg" (pg)

I bought this coffee for my wife office and they seem to love it. Good coffee and great sale price. You can not go wrong with this coffee.

Green Mountain Coffee, Southern Pecan, K-Cups for Keurig Brewers, 24-Count Boxes (Pack of 2) Review by Joecompute (Buffalo Grove, Il United States)

I loved this when it was ~$20 but it went out of stock and became "unavailable". Orders arbitrarily cancelled. Now its back but , oops... its $60. I guess Exxon bought the company!

Bodum 10864-106 Customer Product Reviews

Bodum 10864-106 Review by Evilyne

For the first couple of uses I thought this was pretty brilliant. I was slightly annoyed at having to hold the button down, and you have to heat your milk after you froth it (it froths better when cold, but who wants to add cold milk to a hot drink?) but I could live with that. What I cannot live with is the short life this product has. The first one I had broke after 3 uses and simply wouldn't turn on. The button felt like it wasn't able to be pressed down all the way. I did not get it wet, drop it or mistreat it in any way, it just stopped working. I returned it to the store I got it from and they were happy to exchange it for me.

Unfortunately the second one is only barely outperforming the first. The button has also failed, but I can get it to work if I hold it sideways when I press it and then lower it into the milk. Pretty ridiculous after about 10 uses. The little frother has also stopped moving up and down the wand like it is supposed to. If I get my fingers in there and get it unstuck it can move, but as soon as it hits the top or bottom again it gets stuck again. It works okay when stuck in the down position, it is utterly useless when it gets stuck in the up position.

It also eats through batteries like I have an infinite supply of them. After only 10 uses I'm going to have to replace this set if I want to keep using it. The frother still spins, but not fast enough to get any sort of result other than noisy whirring.

I like the idea of a portable frother that I can take with me when traveling or camping, but this one certainly isn't going to do the job. If it breaks when sitting on the counter, I can't imagine how quickly it would fail if I actually packed or moved it. I think I want to go with something that doesn't use batteries. Can anyone recommend one that doesn't use power?

Bodum 10864-106:: Description

With this new, sensational milk frother, the perfect foam comes at the push of a button. An absolute novelty, the Bodum Latte's foaming spiral not only rotates in both directions, but it also moves up and down, thus pumping more air into the milk and making the foam, to put it simply, even foamier. The Bodum Latte houses batteries in its rubber lid and a big button on top to get it going. It's designed for 0.2 l milk to be foamed at a time. For best results use ice cold non-fat or low-fat milk, froth it and then put the Latte into the microwave for hot foam. The Latte frother is also great for other light mixing such as protein drinks, sauces, salad dressings and more. The large BPA free plastic beaker is heat resistant and can be used with hot or cold liquids. Requires 4-AA batteries - not included. Available in black, orange, purple, red, green, and white.

Bodum 10864-106:: Features

  • Battery operated frother quickly whips milk into dense layer of foam
  • Prepare coffeehouse style drinks with the push of a button
  • Bodum Latte's foaming spiral not only rotates in both directions, but it also moves up and down, thus pumping more air into the milk for a more even froth.
  • BPA free plastic beaker

Simpson Strong-Tie KWB1 Customer reviews

Simpson Strong-Tie KWB1 Review by gmac1973

I used this kit to make a 6-foot long workbench. I made mine out of salvage 2x4s from a wall that I had previously taken down in my house. The only additional items I had to purchase was a 4' x 8' sheet of 5/8" OSB for the bench top and shelf and a 4' x 8' sheet of pegboard for the back, both of which I had cut to size at Home Depot, and some countersink screws to attach the bench top and shelf.

Construction was a snap for the most part. One thing to be careful of, which I initially overlooked in my haste (and had to trim a bit off several boards once I realized my mistake), is that the length you will cut the horizontal 2x4s to is less than the final bench dimensions by the width of the adjoining 2x4s. So for the 2-foot x 6-foot bench that I made, you need 4 sections of 2x4 cut to 17" (24" - 3.5" - 3.5") for the side members, and 4 sections cut to 69" (72" - 1.5" - 1.5") for the front and rear members of the main bench. I also needed one addition horizontal member cut to 72" for the upper rear piece. For the vertical members, you need two 2x4s cut to 66" (rear) and two cut to 34" (front).

Some steps would be easier with a second person, but I was able to manage it myself by propping the sections of the partially completed bench opposite the side I was working on against a wall in my basement. The self-drilling screws that come with it went in very easily without any splitting. No pre-drilling was needed until it came time to attach the bench top and bottom shelf. I used different screws (not the round-headed ones that come with the kit) for this step and pre-drilled/countersunk them so they would be flush with the bench top and shelf. I also installed a power strip on the rear bench top with a cut out in the bottom corner of the pegboard (that is just barely noticeable once attached) for the cord. Overall a very nice product that makes a very durable bench, which I am sure to get years and years of use out of.

Simpson Strong-Tie KWB1 Review by L. Carley (Michigan)

This product makes for very easy construction of Sturdy Workbenches and Self-Standing Storage Shelves. I've purcheased several kits for the latter to add shelves to my basement and garage. The product is a little pricey, but you will be very happy with the way your projects turn out. The only downside is that a ton of screws are used in the construction, so have an extra battery charged up and ready to go for your cordless screwdriver. The kit does include all the screws you'll need though, so this product gets a five star rating from me!

Simpson Strong-Tie KWB1 Review by Gabby (Western USA)

The plans for this thing are online - go to the Simpson web site. Everything you need - instructions, diagrams - is there. It's a free download (pdf file). Buy the connectors at the hardware store - they're about $40. No need to buy the actual kit, which costs more, of course.

The build it yourself concept is terrific, though - you can make it according to your own size requirements, and it really isn't difficult. No difficult cutting or expensive pieces of wood.

Bully WTD-810 Report

Bully WTD-810 Review by Michael P. Jarosh

This item is just as expected and easy to install. It comes as 2 spring loaded tie downs per order. Much cheaper than anywhere else online. Very interested to see how it performs during the wintertime. Extremely fast shipping, 2 days on standard shipping.

Bully WTD-810 Review by OUcam (Oklahoma City, OK)

These tie downs are very useful and should be easy to install but the bolts they come with are some of the cheapest things I have ever seen. I had 2 bolts that broke when tightening them. This is a bad place to cut corners and try to save money. Other than that, they work great, I'm just frustrated that i had to go the hardware store to get stronger bolts.

Bully WTD-810 Review by Bdown309

They are the WORST tie downs ever. I got 4 and each one the screw went halfway or more down the threads and then cross threaded because the threads are cheap and strip out. I was so mad and getting them out so they weren't stuck on the truck was just absurd. They would have been nice had they not cheaped out on making them so thin. To sum it up... They are cheaply made and are not worth any money.

Big T Clear Tumbler Review by Ranchwoman "ranchwoman" (Telferner, TX United States)

These are huge! If you want a big glass this one is for you.
I fill it with tea and it lasts all morning with ice still in it by lunch.

Tervis 24 oz. Big T Clear Tumbler Review by S. Edmond "Designluv" (Suffolk, VA USA)

They work- no sweat and keep beverages colder longer. They come out of the dishwasher looking good. My only complaint is that the rim is so thick which is probably so that a lid can attach to it, however no lid accompanies the tumbler. I'd prefer the option of a thinner lip.

Tervis 24 oz. Big T Clear Tumbler Review by LilYam

This thing is big. Very, very big. Just to put it in perspective, and give you a clear sense of how big this tumbler is, it could probably hold about 25,000 ants. Or maybe several million grains of sand. Close your eyes and try to imagine 1,500 thumbtacks. Then imagine pouring those thumbtacks into a large plastic tumbler. This would probably be a good tumbler to contain those aforementioned tacks. My guess is that they'd fit quite easily.

The possibilities are truly endless, as this tumbler can hold liquids, solids, and yes, even vapors. I've tried all 3 phases of matter, and each rests comfortably within the spacious confines of this tumbler. Not only that, but the clearness of the plastic allows you to see directly into - and through - the tumbler. It's fun to see what's inside!

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, this tumbler doesn't sweat. I repeat - no drink sweat. Its double-walled, hermetically-sealed, vacuum-plasma-positron core prevents condensation from forming on the outer surface of the tumbler. Fill the tumbler with the iciest-cold drink you can find, and bring it with you into the jungles of Borneo, or a bath house steam room in Chelsea. It makes no difference. Not a drop of sweat will form. On the outside of the tumbler, that is. I personally sweat like a hippo in a humidor when I so much as walk briskly down the street on a 75-degree day. And that's why I admire this tumbler so much. It keeps its cool under pressure. I call it the Tom Brady Tumbler.
